In short, everything you need to know to ensure you enjoy Oktoberfest just like the locals do.
Afterwards we will put theory into practice in a traditional big beer tent where we have guaranteed reserved seats for you so we can enjoy the amazing beers, great food and fantastic atmosphere together.

More space to sit
At Oktoberfest they sell 10 seats per table, which is a lot. With 10 people per table you’re really cramped together. That is why we sell only 8 seats out of every 10 we buy so that you have a bit more room to sit. So our tours are a bit more comfortable than most of the others.
The food and drinks
2 liters of beer (66 ounces) and an oktoberfest chicken are included in this tour.
Both the beer and the food can be replaced by other options. Wine, alcoholfree beer and a selection of sodas are also available.
The chicken can also be replaced by any other dish of the same value, and more expensive dishes can be ordered by simply paying the difference.
The starting times
The tour starts at either 9 am or 10 am.
On most days the tour starts at 10 am, but in the weekend (friday included) they start at 9 am. This is because in the weekend the shedule for the table reservations runs differently. The total time spend in the tent is roughly the same every day.
- Sun 20/09: Tour starts at 9 am.
- Mon 21/09: Tour starts at 10 am.
- Tue 22/09: Tour starts at 10 am.
- Wed 23/09: Tour starts at 10 am.
- Thu 24/09: Tour starts at 10 am.
- Fri 25/09: Tour starts at 9 am.
- Sun 27/09: Tour starts at 9 am.
- Mon 28/09: Tour starts at 10 am.
- Wed 30/09: Tour starts at 10 am.
- Thu 01/10: Tour starts at 10 am.
- Fri 02/10: Tour starts at 9 am.
- Sun 04/10: Tour starts at 9 am.
Where to meet
We meet at Karlstor, or Carl’s gate in English, at Karlsplatz. We’ll meet under the gate itself.
Karlsplatz is a hub for public transportation, so very easy to get to, and from there it’s only a very short subway ride to Oktoberfest.
FAQ
I don’t really like beer, will it still be fun for me?
Absolutely! Try to think of Oktoberfest as one of the most traditional festivals in the world, with a fantastic atmosphere, where people just happen to drink a lot of beer. But there are also other drinks available such as wine and a (small) selection of soda’s. But the real reason to come is the unique experience and the one-of-a-kind atmosphere.
Do we need to spend a lot of money on traditional outfits?
No, it’s not necessary. Although we all love wearing our lederhosen and dirndls, there are quite a lot of visitors that don’t dress up. So you will not be the only one in normal clothes. If you do want to buy something you should be prepared to pay about €200 for lederhosen (for the men) and about €50-€100 for a dirndl (for the ladies).
These tours last a long time. Do we have to stay that long?
No. The duration listed when you book (different per day) states the maximum time you can stay. Most of that time is spend in the tents enjoying Oktoberfest, and of course you’re free to leave earlier.
Is there parking available?
No, not really. We strongly advise against coming by car.
Are children allowed?
No, this is a beer festival so the minimum age for the tour is 16, which is the legal drinking age in Germany.

This was one of the best weekends of my life! I seriously wish I could do it all over again and preferably bring all my friends and family! I am so happy I chose my Oktoberfest tour having my tour guide be Erwin! I laughed so much while learning all the history at the same time. This tour was fantastic! Erwin, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and funny. He explained the history of Oktoberfest, and how to experience it like a local! He was very patient when answering our questions, and helped translate the menu to all of us non-German speakers. As for the reserved seats and beer tent, it was amazing! Lively atmosphere, delicious food, amazing band— it was lots of fun! I highly recommend this tour for all first-timers to Oktoberfest! Thanks Erwin for an unforgettable Oktoberfest experience!!!
